1. Who we are

Quotalis (“we”, “us”) provides AI search visibility monitoring — tracking how brands are mentioned and cited in answers from AI engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. For privacy questions, contact us at service@quotalis.app.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you sign up. We never store plain-text passwords.
  • Audit inputs: website URLs and brand names you submit for free audits or monitoring. Audits analyze only publicly accessible files of the site you submit (such as llms.txt, robots.txt, and sitemaps).
  • Contact data: email addresses you provide to unlock full audit reports.
  • Usage data: anonymized page-view analytics via Vercel Analytics to understand traffic.
  • Payment data: processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem. We do not see or store your card numbers.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the monitoring and audit service you requested.
  • To operate your account, including authentication and support.
  • To send service-related emails (report unlocks, account notices). We do not sell your data and do not send marketing email without consent.
  • To improve the service in aggregate, anonymized form.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:

  • Creem — payment processing (Merchant of Record).
  • Vercel — hosting and analytics infrastructure.
  • AI model providers — brand-monitoring queries are sent to model APIs; submitted brand names and URLs may be included in those prompts.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and anonymized analytics cookies to measure traffic. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Security and retention

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Access to production data is restricted. We keep account data while your account is active and delete it on request, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., payment records kept by our Merchant of Record).

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing service@quotalis.app. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
