Terms of Service

1. The service

Quotalis monitors how brands are mentioned and cited in answers from AI search engines (including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity) and provides a free AI-readiness audit of public websites. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed according to the plan you select at signup, on a recurring basis until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem. By subscribing you also agree to Creem’s payment terms.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Plan usage is subject to fair-use measurement budgets described on the pricing page.

4. Free audit

The free audit analyzes only publicly accessible files of the website you submit. It is rate-limited (3 runs per IP per day) to prevent abuse. Audit results are informational estimates, not guarantees of AI-engine behavior.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not submit websites you do not own or have permission to analyze.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the service, or disrupt its operation.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Refunds

If you are dissatisfied, contact service@quotalis.app and we will review refund requests in good faith, consistent with our payment provider’s policies.

7. Disclaimers

AI-engine outputs are probabilistic and change over time; mention and citation measurements reflect observed model behavior, not endorsements or guaranteed outcomes. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quotalis’s total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
